R-PET flakes recycling requires a special design of extruder to keep it good IV (intrinsic viscosity). After being cleaned and dried, PET flakes are homogenized in a storage silo before being fed into a twin-screw extruder. High vacuum units are used to remove moisture, producing low-viscosity PET pellets or sheets.

It is widely used in PET bottle flakes recycling and spinning fiber recycling, etc.
